emergency contact on an index card
clothes for 4 days and 3 nights (note: please check weather.com for forecast, please estimate weather as colder than you may think)
shorts, sweatshirts, tshirts, sweat pants, coat, jeans, extra socks and t-shirts, bathing suit, hat, poncho
sneakers or hiking boots
flip flops or sandals (optional)
sunscreen
bug spray

(optional) bed mat / air mattress (for a single bed)
pillows
cold weather sleeping bag (note: please estimate weather as colder than you may think)
a few empty cardboard boxes to put on your wire bed frame (don't forget this)
sheets & extra blankets
towels
toiletries
outdoor folding chair(s) labeled with your name (if possible)
watch (this will be needed for orienteering activity)
flashlight or lantern
fishing license and plastic holder to display it (only if you're on the fishing team)
watch or cell phone with alarm

What NOT to Pack

alcohol (PROHIBITED at State Park)
electric powered air mattess: there isn't electricity in the cabins, or room for mattresses on the ground.

baseball glove if you'd like to play baseball / softball
rosary beads
journal to take notes
bible
fishing gear (for you to use if you're on the fishing team or supplies you could lend to others)
sporting supplies: frisbees, etc
mountain bike with safety gear
musical instruments
